We said goodbye to Father Anthony (he

departed at the end of July), Father Moses (he

departed at the end of August), and Father

of October), and now it is time to say:

“Welcome back” to Father Celestine (who

arrived on 29 September and will hopefully

remain with us throughout the month of

October)! Please join me once again, with the

words of Saint Therese of Lisieux (whose

Feast Day we celebrated on 1 October), in

praying for all of our Priests, and in a particular

way, those who came to us this summer and

offered us Life in abundance!

O Jesus,

I pray for Your faithful and fervent Priests;

for Your unfaithful and tepid Priests;

for Your Priests laboring at home or abroad in

distant mission fields.

for Your tempted Priests;

for Your lonely and desolate Priests;

For Your young Priests;

for Your dying Priests;

for the souls of Your Priests in Purgatory.

But above all, I recommend to You the priests

dearest to me:

the Priest who Baptized me;

the Priests who absolved me from my sins;

the Priests at whose Masses I assisted and

who gave me Your Body and Blood in Holy

Communion;

the Priests who taught and instructed me;

all the Priests to whom I am indebted in any other

way (especially …).

O Jesus, keep them all close to Your heart,

and bless them abundantly in time and in eternity.

Amen.

The Month of October is Respect Life Month. It is

also the month dedicated to Our Lady, Queen of

the Most Holy Rosary. On Friday, 17 October, at

7:00 P.M. in the Church, parishioners of Our Holy

Redeemer Parish will be praying the Rosary for a

greater respect of life in all of its stages. If you are
